Important note:

All bookings
must be confirmed by paying a £30.00 deposit, by Paypal. You don't need to have a Paypal account to do this, but you can pay by any of the accepted major debit and credit cards. If your total hire is less, then we will give you back the difference in cash upon arrival with us.

This is due to people having made bookings on previous occasions and not having kept them, and thus denying other people the chance to make a booking themselves, and get out and have a great time on the water.

The payment facility is on our 'Hire Rates for 2012' page. Click here to go straight there.

Here's  some feedback from some recent customers
: "We have hired kayaks from Chris twice, and each time have been delighted. He is always ready on time, friendly, efficient and flexible. The kayaks are of a good quality and the river we were taken to was idyllic. In our group we had a complete beginner and my son who is experienced, we all enjoyed it equally. It is a wonderful way to leave the world and worries behind and get out on the river.....a bit like Toad and Ratty! Oh and it represents VERY good value for money. Take a picnic, it really makes it fun!"
Alison F. Somerset. May, 2011

'Thanks Chris for a fantastic day out. We really enjoyed it and can't wait to go again.' Rory. Bristol. January, 2012.

'Thank you for a great day! It was cold and windy but we all had so much fun. We will definitely see you again in a few months’ time'.  Clare, Bristol. January, 2012

Is this what you fancy? Having a relaxing paddle along a local waterway? Call to make your booking on 07967 661442 or 01458 841046 or email us by using the form at the bottom of the page.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by The Somerset Levels, and so the waterways are controlled so as to keep the land moist in Summer, and drained in the Winter months, or any  other time when we may have a lot of rain.

This gives us flat water to paddle, which makes for a very pleasant way to spend some time. It also makes it easier for beginners, knowing that the water is going to remain flat for them.

We're based in Street, Somerset, just 20 minutes from Junction 23 of the M5, and just off the A39 towards Glastonbury, so we're very easy to find. If you're coming from the A303, then we're about 15 minutes from the Podimore Services roundabout. Follow the A372 towards Langport, and then the B3151 to Street. Enter BA16 0AJ into your SatNav to find us, or just ask for directions. We're easy to find, being situated near to Crispin School and Strode College and Strode Theatre.

Monday July 10th, 2010 saw us going for a paddle on King's Sedgemoor Drain at Greylake, Somerset. Here is a video of some swans that we'd been following for a while, and when they reached the bridge, seemed to decide that they'd reached 'the end of the road', so thought it was time to make their move. You only see this from being on the water!

Our most hired kayak. A double sit on top kayak with padded seats.

Go twice as far and share the workload along with the pleasure.

We also have available to hire a trailer for those wishing to hire one or more kayaks, and who have a tow hitch on their vehicle. (You'll need to bring your own number plate though! It has a fully working light board.)

Their hire rates along with all others is on our 'Hire rates for 2012' page.
